These facilities, located at UW Madison’s Lowell Hall and in South Milwaukee, were essential in the state’s effort to control the spread of the virus. We worked tirelessly to make sure these facilities remained safe and hygienic for patients and healthcare workers alike.
Expanding Our Role: The Alternative Care Facility Initiative
In May 2020, our responsibility expanded as we were chosen to oversee the cleaning and disinfection of the 530-bed Alternative Care Facility at State Fair Park. This facility played a crucial role in caring for Covid-19 patients.
